The Court Alternatives Program provides service to individuals who have been cited for City of Milwaukee ordinance violations and are at risk of incarceration. Program staff coordinates and implements a range of services that will satisfy Milwaukee Municipal Court obligations:
- Community Service to non-profit organizations
- Referrals to treatment programs for AODA and/or mental health needs
- Referrals to job placement and employment services
- Verification and credit for time served
- Referrals to court Installment plans and extensions to pay
- Recommendations to Municipal Court Commissioners for incarcerated individuals
- Case Management and follow-up services
