Pretrial Mental Health & AODA Intervention Program

Community supervision and case management units:

Support defendants stipulated by court order as a condition of release from custody

Assesses social, clinical, and criminal history to evaluate public safety risks and determine client needs

Establish linkages to essential services (mental health and AODA treatment, housing, daily living support) provided by community-based organizations

Monitor participation in mental health treatment and other identified services

Report client status, progress, or noncompliance with release conditions to the courts

Assure continuity of care through ongoing communication with identified service providers

Continue case management services until the person is sentenced or discharged from the program

Provide services directly in the community conducting field visits either at the person's home or treatment site and in the program offices
